The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it is actually alarmed regarding the high quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the sassa lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area every day. The assistance stage designed for intervention experiences a large inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to empower the servicing of all customers click here and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
